So, who're the X-Men, you ask? *SLAP* Get the hell outta here. Take three
DJ's from Brooklyn calling themsleves Roc Raider,
Mr. Sinista, and Rob Swift, let them master the art of turntbalism for over 14 years, travel all over the world, make a video tape of a great and ancient battle between themselves and the Invisible Skratch Picklz, and then make an album which will drop sooner than you think. And what do you have?
Well, you have the X-Men stupid! And what happens when you give them two
sets of tables? All bloody hell breaks loose. And that it did. This is
the free-for-all DMC Cutmastas.
Roc Raider is a beast. They shouldn't of let him go first. He lived up to his name, Raiding the turntable and Rockin the place. It was sick. The crowd
just watched, studied and learned. Everyone was in awe, and somebody yelled, "That was worth the $8 right there!" Roc was so modest. He just did his shit and practically said 'Thank you' when he got off. Being one of the world's best will do that to you, I guess.
While nobody was on the tables, the X-Men album would play. All I gotta say is, it's about time. Imagine, a whole album with phat underground, non-commercialized MC's rhymin on some phat, original, professional underground beats along with three of the world's greatest DJ's cuttin and mixin. A hip-hop dream and definitly worth a buy. I mean, its orginal beginnings was a conceptual break beat album, and we all know how phat those are, especially from an X-Man. So peep it when its out in early September. If you want an update on the X-men, where' they'll be and all that, contact Midknight and I'll see what I can do.
