I could tell Joe felt a little more laxed outside as me, Joe, Trevor, and Roundtree walked down U street. "How'd you get into this?" One of them asked me.

"Into what?" I asked, not knowing he was referring to the Skratch Pad.

"Interviewing groups and everything." I suppose since they were telling me about themselves, I would tell them about me. I can't say that I wasn't used to it though. I told them about the Skratch Pad, the 2 year old hip-hop and DJ'ing site and basically told them about my last 3 years. Afterwards we found some stairs to chill on for awhile, while they talked.

"Basically, it's like this," said Joe Villa and Trevor, "We're called the Amphibians because we're able to adapt to any environment. We can rock all types of music in hip-hop form. When we went to Florida, we started flowing to some Miami Bass, it was cool as hell, I mean, we just did it."
Trevor continued, "Are beats, flow like water, and an amphibian is a living thing based on water and earth and that's the way our beats flow."

"So how did you guys form?" I asked.

"You remember the Freestyle Union a couple years back?" Joe asked. I nodded. "Well, most of us came out of there. The Freestyle Union was more of an older crowd and we were all younger, so we just melded together and became us. We just did our own thing."

He continued, "We're unique. We all have, like, different voices, but we carry the same vibes. There's mad heads and we have mad songs out, we just gotta put it all together." Soon after, it started to rain and, unfortunatly, to Joe's dismay, we had to head back in the cafe to continue.
