Yo Midknight, because I'm low budgeted (broke), I can't afford two Technics 1200's or 1210's so should I buy a cheaper Gemini or some other turntable?
Hey, who can afford two turntables right away? (Unless you just got loot like dat), but I only have one Technics 1200 and I usually either borrow a Technics, or mix on a cheap mix a garbage. When you throw a party, yeah, rent another 1200 or whatever, but when it's just you in your basement or whatevuh, yo, learn the best way you can. That's how I learned. If you learn how to mix on a piece of garbage, imagine what you can do when you get your next 1200...

Yo Midknight, although vinyl is phat n' all that shiznit, I'm curious into purchasing a pro CD-Player with super phat mixing abilities. Is this better for parties than two turntables or is it not?
It is obviously possible to rock parties using a quality CD-Mixer like the Pioneer CDJ-500II, however, say goodbye to backspins. What you need to take into consideration is what kind of DJ you are. If you are strictly a straight mixing, fade-blending, house shaker, then maybe the CD's are for you. However, if you are a super crisp, cut-creator, then CD's get the big donut and you might wanna get yourself a pair of 1200's.
